Cozy Cottage Fall Tour

Today, I’m going to take you on a tour of our cozy cottage ranch home decked out for fall!

Thank you for stopping by the blog today!  If you’re new around here, I’m Amy and I live in a white ranch house in Cincinnati with my husband, Greg, and our three children.  We moved here a year ago in November.  It’s been such fun fixing up this home and decorating it with what I’ve coined my Cozy Cottage Vintage style.  I love mixing styles modern to farmhouse and throwing in some vintage and thrift store finds along the way.

I’m hopping today with some other great ladies, so be sure to scroll all the way down to see their fall tours also!

Cozy Cottage Fall Tour

When you enter our home, we have a small entryway which doesn’t get much in the way of decorating, but I was able to squeeze in some wooden pumpkins and fresh eucalyptus on a small corner table.  You can see more of this fall vignette here (LINK).

Straight ahead is our library/ office.  This space with all the stacks of books on the bookshelves is one of my favorite places to hang out.  It has a fireplace which I decked out with traditional autumn colors of orange, brown, red, and green and mixed in some vintage finds.

On the other side of this room, through the French doors is our dining room.  In this space, I chose to use neutral colors such as cream and green mixing in brass accents, and white milk glass.  Our mantel is simple and understated with wheat and brass while more brass candlesticks, gold acorns, and green pumpkins march down the large family dining table. Next, we are going to pop into the kitchen for a brief second.  This was a huge remodel we did right when we moved in.  It was a major undertaking and my first kitchen remodel, so I had no idea what I was in for!  Has anyone been there?  Though it was painful to live through, we are so thankful for this amazing new space.

Our last stop on this cozy cottage fall tour is our family room.  This space is all about the warm grays, pinks, greens, and whites.  Gathering my color scheme from a gallery wall we recently updated (LINK) and the custom artwork on the mantel (LINK), we decided to add touches of fall with felt pumpkins, warm fuzzy throws, and soft velvet pillow covers.
