My Thrift Store Anthropologie Dress

I have really been into bargain shopping lately.  I don't know what it is, but I have enjoyed the thrill of the hunt!  Some of new favorite haunts have been Goodwill and the Salvation Army.  The exciting thing is never knowing what you might find.  Today's example blew my socks off so I had to share it with you!

On one of these trips, I stopped at what would be considered a Goodwill Boutique.  This is a location which has items displayed in a more shopper friendly way with items sorted and racked by color and displays of clothing and items arranged in a boutique like manner.  Prices tend to be a little higher than a normal Goodwill, but the items are nicer and higher end.  I wasn't hunting for anything specific when I came across this dress an Anthropologie brand with retail tags still attached.  Joy!  It just so happened to be in my size and at 50% off.  Original tag price was $295. I was able to score it for $40.  Instant love.

It was even more exciting when I got home and realized that a pair of gold wedge heels I already owned looked like a match made in heaven.

Here is the dress/ outfit I put together.

The teal clutch was a Stitch Fix item a couple of months ago.  I love how it contrasts the orange dress.

I wore it right away to a graduation party I attended that week.

Are you in to thrifting?

What are some of your favorite scores?

To life feeling like home!

Amy
